Greetings and welcome to my homepage!

My name is Sushmitam, and I have been a student of Sri Chinmoy since 1990. I live in Geelong, Australia. Music is one of my great loves, and as you can see, I play the cello. Although I was classically trained, I mostly play meditation music these days. You can hear me playing on some of the Shindhu recordings available on Radio Sri Chinmoy. In the photo on this page you can see a waterfall - yes I am blessed with a waterfall in my own back yard! After my morning meditation I often sit and read Sri Chinmoy's spiritual poetry in a chair which looks out on this waterfall. The serenity this brings to me before I head out into the world is just glorious! Here is one of my favourite poems of Sri Chinmoy's about waterfalls-:
You want to be happy? That is very easy. Simply imagine you are in front of a waterfall. Aah. The waterfall. See. You are happy.
